“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.”
I have had a passion for working with children ever since I was a camp counselor in high school. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida International University. I have been working with children on the autism spectrum since 2004.
I have worked as a paraprofessional, have worked in multidisciplinary clinical settings, and have worked with teachers in the classroom providing behavior analytic interventions. My wide range of experience has helped me effectively lead a team of behavior analysts and technicians, consult and create programs for clients, and work with parents and families to enable successful programs.
I started Shine Bright Therapy in 2010, wanting to use my skills and passion to work with parents and families of children with autism. I had a desire to deliver professional and ethical services, which I found lacking in my community. I have a smart, talented, and creative team of people who work with me on my vision to improve the lives of children in the Miami area.
I am constantly striving to improve the quality of my work and to find inspiration to fall in love with my career everyday. My latest adventure is taking me to Indonesia to help improve the lives of children on the autism spectrum. To learn more about my work with The Global Autism Project, click here.
I look forward to working with you and your child!
