Jennifer Martin, M.S., CCC-SLP
Jennifer graduated with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Florida and holds a certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Jennifer has experience with pediatric and adult populations in a variety of settings including clinic, school, and early intervention home-based therapy. Jennifer has a strong background in pediatric communication disorders and has been working with pediatrics for 10 years. She previously served as department director at a behavioral facility for autism and related disorders. She continues to expand her knowledge through specific trainings targeted for pediatric feeding/swallowing, autism, AAC and apraxia. She has attended trainings on the use of a variety of treatment approaches including Beckman Oral Motor techniques and the Get Permission Approach to Mealtime Challenges. Additionally, she is a PROMPT Level II trained clinician. Jennifer focuses on providing treatment and education that is individualized and family-centered. To expand awareness and knowledge within the field, Jennifer has partnered with local universities to provide professional training and support for graduate student interns as well as providing mentorship for clinical fellows.
